If you delivered pizza... what would you do to get back at people that don't tip?

I deliver pizza, and theres this fuckhead that orders shit all the damn time and he has never tipped any drivers. Sometimes, he will even lecture the drivers about how he can afford to give tips, he just doesn't believe in it(he lives in a complete shithole trailer park in the middle of no where).

It gets worse..heh. He always orders thin crust pizzas. We cut those so the pieces are in squares. He wants them cut like a normal pizza. No big deal.. Sometimes we forget and cut them wrong. One night his wife called, and was telling the manager how her husband beats her when the pizzas are cut wrong... I guess he thinks its her fault or something..heh.

Anyway.. I have his phone number on all that shit from one of the tickets from when I delivered his shit. At about 3:30am I'm going to do a MrWakeUp.com to him (its a free wake up call service). He has 2 phone lines, so of course I'll do it twice.

Anyone have any ideas (within reason.. can't exactly burn down his shithole) of stuff I should do seeing how he has stiffed me about 5 times? :cool: Hell, I think I'll give everyone that stiffs me a 3am wake up call from now on.

I tip everyone $5. Don't care if they are early or late. Its never the drivers fault the order took forever to make, or that whoever took the order over the phone fucked it up.

Usually when I know I'm going to a house that will stiff me.. thats the last order I deliver out of all of them I take on that trip. And if they order sodas... I am shaking those fuckers non-stop the entire way to their house..heh. And of course if I'm going to a place that gives good tips I go as fast as I can. Good tip = good service.

If its Domino's, I tip even if they're late because rarely are they late and my pizza's are usually hot enough to not be able to eat them right away...

If its alfy's.... I always get it free and I tip em a little since they drove their asses out here...

If its my redhead delivery girl I give her anywhere from 5 to 10 bucks because she's a sweetheart :D

wouldnt that punish his wife too? i'm sure he at least lets her get the crust....me personally i would use a needle and fill up a little ping pong ball with liquid draino..put it in his gas tank and the gas will eat away at the ping pong ball and when it does....kaboom!!!!

One of the most embarrasing things you can do that guy is to have his coin change pre sorted in a ziplock back before hand... all those 67 cents in pennies... Make sure to ask him to verify the amount....

when he's done tell him: "and here's a dollar from me" and give him another bag with 100 pennies...

My stifferes never get any napkins, parmesian cheese or red peppers.

I also take time examining their checks, I ask them to pull out their guarantee cards, DL, social security cards and another form of ID, Ask them to write their phone number and their cell number.... All of the bougous info that does not need to be there... Company policy, either put it in, or I won't give you your pizza...

One lucky customer aways enjoys a routine tune up in front of his house... total timing check, intitial timing check, idle mixture adjustment, accelerator pump check. Once I've even swapped a carburator in his drive way...

On the rainy days, some people get to enjoy burn outs in fron of their houses, I blame the water...

I don't want to sound racist, but for some strange reason black people never tip, they don't even tip black drivers.. What's up with that? Is that nation wide?

I quit delivering pizza b/c the tips were getting shittier every day and it wasn't worth the trouble. I always tip the pizza guy 3 bucks b/c the pizza place is less than a block from my house and they usually walk over with the pizza! On another note (getting back to the original topic), I ALWAYS tip the pizza dude no matter what the situation is. Just remember that next time you order, he's going to have 10-20 minutes of "alone" time with your pizza. That's plenty of time for him to spit on it, or pull out a penthouse and ...

He's like , "please don't tell me it's more than 10 dollars". I'm like, "it's 10.50. So i had to wait for this lame fuck to find 50 cents. Along w/ me not gettinga tip. :mad: On the plus side, I get the hook up from some regulars and the few ladies on the base are relatively nice. :)

Like Jim said, I always tip the pizza guy, just like I never send anything back to the kitchen if it's not done right. You NEVER KNOW what people will do to your food when you're not watching. You wanna eat something somebody just jizzed or spit on???? :eek: I don't know if I tip them what they think they should get though. If the pizza is like $26.50 or $27 (yes that's how much a delivered large pan crust costs out here) I give them $30 and tell them to keep it. They usually seem happy. I've never worked in food service so I don't really know what's appropriate.

One thing Ive noticed, is that in all the places Ive worked with food, its always very clean, no one spits or does anything bad to food if its sent back, or anything like that, so I think people are jsut paranoid that everyone is out to do bad stuff to their food..

the place is less than a 1/2 mile from my door... and everytime they deliver it takes like 45 minutes and has taken as much as 1.5 hours to get our pizza...

the pizza hut guy from accross town is always there under 30 minutes... he gets a tip... :)

Didnt you say that you worked at Dennys? Hardly upscale. Secondly I only eat at nice places and leave big tips , unless you fuck up , leave the table full of dishes , leave my beer or soda glass empty for a long ass time , bring the dinner and appitizer at the same time , or have a fucked up attitude. Have your people that complain look at how they are treating the black customers , if they put out an aura of "you dont tip anyway so I am going to treat you like shit" then people will pick up on that and not tip them. If you treat me like that I will tell you to your face that you arent getting shit.

Im curious at how the issue of black people not tipping comes up with your clients.

If it is cool with the boss try forgetting about delievering it for awhile. Then we he calls back say okay it be there in 30 minutes. Then again do not bring. If he calls the samething. Then maybe he will switch to someone else.

Or when he calls back say we have not yet taken your order would you like to order? Do this a coupe times.

Or give him some extra stuff. Like if he does not like jalopenos stick some under the cheese or those fishes are sure to make him not reorder.

Make sure he is the last person delievered to or even stick in the refregerator for awhile before bring it out.

Heh, well, I'm not black.. but I'll tell you what, the amount I tip is in direct relationship with the service received.. if you are a shitty server, you get like 2 cents. :cool: If the service is awesome, shit, I've tipped up to like 50% before.. but it's usually around 15-20%.

As far as the pizza thing goes, deliver it fucked up on purose and wait for him to open it, when he starts complaining beat the shit out of him and tell the cops that he attacked you over a pizza. If he kicks his wifes ass, lives in a mobile home , and happens to be wearing a wife beater then they wont even listen to his side.

Dont bother putting stuff into his food because he wont even know that its in there and it wont hurt him so there really is no revenge.

Nope. I live in a "black" neighborhood and I can(and have occasionally) leave the windows down on my car while it sat outside overnight. In the morning, everything was the same as I left it the night before, including the CD player I left on the seat(by accident).

There is however a correlation between "high risk area" and "low income housing".

Personally I think it's really fucking cowardly to do offensive things to people's food behind their backs if you work in the food business. I don't care if someone's a pizza delivery person or a burger flipper, take a little pride and do your job well. If a person is not tiping, do something about him not tipping, not some infantile little gags that won't solve anything.

As I see it, a tip is a reward for good service, not mandatory. So he's not tipping, then don't give him good service. 1/2 hour late, cold, cheese stuck to the lid, that's bad service. And when he complains tell him straigh up "I always give people the benefit of the doubt at first, and try hard to deliver their pizza. I've given you good service without tip for too long. I give priority to my customers who respect my hard work, and you're not one of them. So your pizza goes to the bottom of the pile, and is last to be delivered. You want to change that, you've got a back log of tips to make up for." Say it sincerely. Might change him. Maybe he doesn't realize he's supposed to tip? :confused: But at least he'll know what he has to do if he wants "prefered cutomer" service.

About him beating his wife, that's a whole different issue that doesn't quite fall into the pizza boy's domain unfortunately.

A)whites,... been shafted, been tipped real good.
B)hispanics, ... been shafted, been tipped real good.
C)asians,.... been shafted.,... haven't been tipped real good yet. LOL, i fucked up this one time. i was delivering to this guy named "Chang" last name. anyways, i get out of my car and some guy is like... "what do you have in there". i'm like a 350. anyways i show him my engine and all and stuff. and then i go up to give "Chang" his food. LOL
he was watchin' me the entire time. Let's just say i got stiffed w/ an angry face. :eek:
D)blacks,... got stiffed, got tipped well. except one punk fucker, tried to say i forgot a Gyro. The manager packed the order himself, so he got a nice talking to. :)

I believe the uneducated will not tip you very well. either them bein' black, white, hispanic or asian. Another, point is "sympathy" or "respect" ... a person knows he would want to get at least a dollar for taking some food to someones house. or, may have worked or have known someone who has delivered before. :)

oh yeah, and i have asked for a tip before. Mother fucker stiffed me 3 times before that. He gave me 2 bux. :) I thought i would look silly, turns out he looked more of an ass. :)

i am originally from new york (so who knows more about pizza :D ) and my family owned a italian restaurant and also managed some oth er restaurants in town...i live in north carolina now in a kinda upscale area where there are rich and poor of every race.....i got out of the restaurant businness after i turned 18 cause commissioned sales seemed like a better oportunity to make some money...but my family is still involved in the restaurant business here..(bro is a waiter, dad is area manager or something) and throughout all areas and classes of people I always hear how black people dont tip...my bro is a kick ass waiter and we both have black friends so we treat everyone equally...its just a thing.. no matter where you go...smasher you are few and far between...even as a young kid i know people assume i wont tip well cause i am young but after being in the business for years i habitually tip around 30%..i dont not tip them cause they have a mentality that i wont tip..they cant help it...young kids just burn people alot on tips...and that goes the same for black...ya gotta beat the stereotypes....

When I goto a client and the meal is comped, I leave the FULL ammout of the meal for the tip.
