Moving in with the g/f....... opinions?

Well not for at least 6 months anyway. Thats when her lease at her place is up with her roommates.

But for those that have done it or are doing it, how long did you wait till you guys moved in?

And just to reassure you guys, things have gotten WAY better and she has settled down from her wild ways of the past. We've been together for over 5 months but we started seeing each other 4 months before that.
She was the fuck buddy that turned into something more I guess you could say. :D

But yeah I have 6 more months to evaluate but I am thinking now.

Sure.. sounds like a good plan. 6 months is a long time to keep up an act, if there is one, which is why its always good to live with a person for 6mo-year before getting serious serious.

I saw my wife for maybe two months before we moved in together.. we lived with each other for a year then got hitched. :)

i say dont do it unless you have no doubts. maybe try staying there for a week or whatever but having your own place to go back to. things might be great at first but seeing the person every day, you might get on each others nerves then you'll have no where to go. maybe over the next 6 months test it out, see how long you can stay with her until you cant stand it. if you never get to that point, then move in :-D

In my experience dealing with this shit, all I can tell you is HAVE A BACKUP PLAN!
If one day she suddenly believes that you have done something wrong, she will kick you out. Make sure you have a place to go when this happens.


I've been in and out with my girlfriend 5 or 6 times in 5 years. I'm with her now, but I don't even unpack all my stuff out of the boxes.

I dunno man you might want to wait a bit, you havent been dating that long.. I am getting ready to move in with my g/f but we have been dating for close to 3 1/2 years. At the 6 mo or 1 yr mark I wouldn't even consider it. In that amount of time you still don't really know her, at least in my opinion.

FYI, I am now married to this woman and have had a child with her. And not only has she lost the baby weight, she lost a few more pounds past that and looks hotter then ever. (not like she needed to. She looks like a hot porn star.) My daughter is the second best thing to happen to me.
