FUCKEN BADASS! That is the best, and cheapest display of road racing I've ever seen on the net without a doubt! LOL! I liked it when the guy in first just drived off the road so mcgyver could pass him LOL! Then when he pulled the *secret lever* and blew right past mcgyver was pretty good, oh, and when he shifter from 4th 2 5th going 150 was kinda B.S. but it was cool none the less. Good job :D

Hehe, I think so.. I think it was some lightweight engine like you mentioned. I remeber the camera panning over and seeing a plain old TPI setup :)

I have the entire original episode on tape--there's even more good thirdgen action. The original driver of the car rolls the car after he drives over a tire wall, MacGyver is chosen to replace him in the Blue T/A.

Yeah, it was supposed to be about a plastic engine, but in all the shots you can see that it's just a TPI 305 painted white.

GK, don't you still have that whole end race? It was like 32 megs before or some bs...

Yeah, its the same video as above, but in MPEG. They actually showed it again a few weeks ago and I got more footage this time. I just haven't had time to put it up.

thats a pretty good example about how the 80s were......secret levers...blue trans ams with silver ground effects and a white painted tpi (plastic engine) built from nothing but loose ends and a swiss army knife....dont like the part how he comes back from last place to winning with a 305.....lol.......
