Any meaning to this...?

A while back I was driving along heading back to my house when a cruiser comes charging up behind me real quick. He comes real close to me but then decides to drop back to speeds below the speed limit. He wasn't going to turn onto another road cuz there weren't any around. He just dropped his speed real low and kept going. Any purpose for that?

He might have had a call he needed to go to and then it was cancelled by dispatch.

He might have had a heavy foot and decided to ease off when he came up to your car.

He might have wanted to run your plate so he got up close to make sure he could see it.

He might have wanted to make sure that you knew he was there so that you don't go off doing something wierd.

It could have been a number of other factors too. I've done the above several times myself. :p
