stupid ass inspection. I have a receipt from the place that inspected the car. What do I do, though? Every other town has this thing where you pay $10 and they forget about it (with proof you fixed it). This town is small and gay. Do I just show up to court and plead "Guilty" or "No Contest" ? ? I've never actually been in traffic court before.

Whatever you do, don't plead no contest. You'll never see the judge in order to present him with the proof. Plead not guilty and present proof to the judge that you corrected the problem.

if it wasnt inspected when you were stopped plead guilty. mail in proof that you got the vehicle inspected and the court should mail you back a letter saying what the fine is. its only worth going to court for a ticket like that, no points, if you have some OVERWHELMING reason why your car wasnt inspected, ie your whole family was killed by a serial killer and you were overcome with grief

Matt, call them and ask if you send proof of the inspection will they submit it to the judge for dismissal.
