Pretty steep where I work since it is drug related. I think ours run for around $245 a pop.

after graduation me and some friends got busted smoking the gonja(weed).. which i have stopped smoking but all i got was 1 yr suspended probation in other words not a damn thing i still got hte ticket too i can appeal it and take it off my record too. tell your friend to show up to his hearing early and dress nice the judge likes that and to be polite sometimes it works. Usually it works with the cops easier especially for girls i've seen them flirt there way out of tickets so many times it aint funny.

dude in my area the maximum is 12 months jail and 8500 fine with contributing to minor not all my friends were 18 when we graduated highschool. pretty hard fines invovled..

Yea but I doubt they will throw him in jail. his is under 21 and such.

in texas now, the penalties for possessing marijuana go:
drug paraphernalia=class C (ticket)
under 2 oz. (useable amount)=class B
2 oz. to 4 oz.=class A
over 4 is a felony depending on amounts

there is a new bill being presented to the legislature that would make penalties go like this:
under 4 oz.=class C (ticket)
over 4 oz.=class B
and so on.....

Well his trial was yesterday. In his words "Ahhh it was only $100. Just a slap on the wrist." Heh oh well. Almost makes me wish is was 200-300 maybe a lesson would be learned.
