Tonight was mine. 64 year old grandma for public intoxication.

What's your oldest?

Oh, and the only reason I didn't just call someone to pick her up is she lied to me. Tried to fake insulin shock. Well, the FD came out and did a blood sugar check of her and she was full of shit. Too bad granny, meet Bubba.

In Tenn. they arrested my 85 year grandma with a walker. I am sure they got a thumbs up at the station.

You all know im not a cop "yet", but when i was in loss prevention i busted a 75 years old guy for shoplifting a picture frame, i just took his name down, got my merchandise back and sent him home instead of calling the police.

that loss prevention stuff is fun huh? i work off-duty in plain clothes at a Dillard's department store in a mall. it's pretty fun. Dillard's gets a lot of heat for their security tactics. they only hire off-duty police officers so they can do a zero tolerance kind of thing. there was an officer-involved shooting as a result of a shoplifter at the store where i work not too long ago. that one and a few other shootings makes Dillard's a big name. people don't understand how shootings occur. we've busted shoplifters with enough stuff for a felony and they go out to their stolen car to hide the bag of cocaine and the gun before they get busted. it gets pretty wild.
