Well.. here in a nice letter from the Superior Court Cali..
It says 26708A VC-I Which is tinted windows and 1214.1 PC-I which is FTA.
My only problem with this is, I sent the fix it ticket in on time with the $10 in the form of a Cashier's Check. If I setup a court date and plead my case, what are the chances of me paying the original $10 fine and getting the FTA expunged?

Did you send in the proof of correction and $10 fee via certified mail? If not, you could be screwed. When dealing with courts, ALWAYS send correspondence via certified mail and hang on to the copies. Larger cities have minimum wage people processing that crap and you'd be amazed at how many mistakes you'll find afterwards.

i think you're going to be stuck out. a LOT of people claim to have mailed a ticket in when they actually didn't so they will take your claim with a grain of salt. i would say anytime you're taking care of any criminal charge you should handle it in person and retain the names of all the people you speak with. that way you eliminate a third party all together.
