In november i was pulled over for speed exabition the cop says he saw me burn out which i didnt. I have a V-6 camaro with 175,000 miles on it and had 3 passangers. On the ticket it shows i was doin 15 in a 10 zone i was in a parking lot. I told him what happend and he would not belive me. So ive plead not guilty and been arraned and the trial is ths friday they had to select jurrors lol. Also here in CA its a misderminor. I know i didnt do anythign wrong. He took pictures of my tire marks which erent mine the parking lt i was in was full of them in the area i was in there were 8 different sets non of which were mine. In the report he says i DID A 66 FOOT burn out. I know its impossible for a V-6 full f peopel to do this how do i convince the jury and if they dont belive me what could happen to me im 18 been driving ovewr 2 yeas and that is my first ticket. Also how does the cop know how fast i was goin when he was behind a building. I said i was doin 10 15 tops can that help me out at all since he didnt use radar to show my speed?

If the pictures he took of the tire marks aren't yours than you should return to that lot and take pictures of the same marks he did. Take a measuring tape with you to measure the width of the marks and be sure to get that in the pictures. Also make sure the pictures show the tread marks. Then take pictures of the tires on your vehicles that show both the treads and the width of the tire. Hopefully, the measurements won't match up. Not that it will matter. I doubt if any court will believe a teenager over a police officer. Whether of not you burned out, it will be at the officers discretion. Hope all goes well............

Also im bringin 2 of the 3 witnesses with me that were in the car i mean any on ewith enough common senc would know a 140 HP car with 4 people in it and 175,000 miles on the engine couldnt do that. Also the tires were Brand new and i got a letter from the shop sayin it may have screched becasue they put wheel dressing on and it tends to get on the tred some ties the tires were 2 days old. also he pu tin i hang out with street races i go there to look at the cars and leave i dont partake in any of the events but the cop kept insisting i did he was very rude to me first thing he says when he walked up is im probly gonna impound your car tongiht and search you and your friends and he was giving me a very rude attitude

I have an observation. If your name is "FAST RS" and your telling people how unpowerful your car is. I know some RS's were made in the V-6, I just think its kinda funny.

some advice:
don’t go in there telling everyone about how rude the cop was. concentrate on only the problem and not anyone’s 'attitude'

and what ever you do BE RESPECTFUL

it goes a long way....


as for the tires take pics if you want. if you take them have a ruler lined up by your tire and the same ruler by the skid marks.

BTW dont mention the tire dressing thing. thats BS and it'll only ruin your creditability.

Take pictures, and bring witnesses. Dress nice, looks sharp, suit and tie. If you go in there looking like a redneck with nothing other than your wallet in your back pocket, your not going to be very convincing.

I Im oging tongoht to take pictures well today actualy but also there are 6 different burnout marks by were he took the pics and were i was. i saw the set he took and when you look at them one way it looks liek one tire was spinning but the other way you can see POSI marks and i dont have posi then there are doughnuts and all sorts of stuff. And i plan to dress ice and im not gonna say anything jsut the truth cuz i know for a fucken fact no v-6 can do a 66 footburn out my frineds 305 camaro can only do a 20 foot. Also the officer took the picture 6 hours after it happend during that time anyone could of burned out there since the street racers are there on that ngiht

I would try that if I were you. If you can show that two tires left marks, you've got a helluva case.

However, I don't buy your story that you didn't do any burnouts....even a Geo Metro can do a brake stand burnout. http://www.3rdgen.org/ubb/biggrin.gif But, if you can get the jurors on your side with the above logic, you've got a good chance.

I wasent burning out hers what happend i went to leave and the ground was a little damp i tapped the gas it chirped. I wasent trying to buirn out and inorder for my car to actualy burn out i would have to do a brake stand and ive tried to burn out with 4 people in my car in the past could not be done im welling to put mycar and licence on the line and giv the keys to the judge and say do a 66.5 foot burn out. Also i read the report he said i almost hit a car and a pedestrian no one was even around me at all and that i did a 180 never happend also from were he was i looked and there could be no possible wahy he could of even seen me do anythign if i had done this
