You get pulled over for not having current stickers on your plates but the car is curently registered? I ask because I was supposed to smog in 99 but I didn't have my new motor built until just a few months ago. Now all I have to do to get my stickers is pass smog but I have a 406. Thanks for any info.

Sometimes, DMV takes forever to issue those little stickers. So long as dispatch tells me something along the line that your registration is currently being updated because you paid your bills, then it should be okay.
The faster you get those stickers, the less bullets you'll have to sweat from being pulled over. Most cops I know don't pull a lot of people over for "minor" things like that but this is the first thing I look at...and I don't hesitate to make those little lights go flashy-flashy! http://www.3rdgen.org/ubb/smile.gif
