I saw the squad car in the background of your car photo. Couldn't think of another dept. with dark cars and black rims. I wish like hell we'd go to black rims....they look a helluva lot better than those shitty hubcaps.

we had a few '98's with the hubcaps and they kept getting knocked off so we went to just the center knock offs with the new ones. i actually like the hubcaps, but with really dark blue cars it does look a little gay. our cars are a custom painted dark navy metallic blue color. i like them better than white ones.

the chief of nrhpd doesn't like fords so you will never see a ford nrhpd patrol car. they have tahoes, caprices and new impalas. we have all fords, but we're going to pull our CID caprices and send them off for refurbishing rather than buy new fords. we haven't had good luck with fords. one is in the shop now for a new tranny. it has about 40,000 miles on it. that's only one of many problems we've had with them. we tested an impala from michigan. drove it into the ground. not bad, but not police material. everyone voted to get the chevys redone.

Yeah, I've lost more hubcaps than I can count just in the last few months. Those damn things fly off everytime I jump a curb! I WISH our Chief wasn't such a Ford man. I dearly miss the Caprices we had in '94. http://www.3rdgen.org/ubb/frown.gif
