Say you and 2 other friends get in your cars, say two camaros and a Mustang, and get on the freeway where its 3 lanes, so you decide to make a rolling barracade, where all 3 cars take up all 3 lanes side by side and do about 10-15 under the speed limit so the other cars ahead of us will go ahead and us 3 are in front of all the other traffic side by side. We did it before awhile back and it was pretty cool.... Im sure its somehow Illegal, what could we be charged with?

here you could be charged with 'impeding traffic', a class C misdemeanor, if the cop was super nice. i would charge you with 'obstructing a highway or passageway' and place you in jail for a class B misdemeanor and tow all of the cars. is it still worth it?

usually on the freeway there's a speed maximum and a minimum say like 55 or 65 as the max and 45 as the minimum, at least thats the way it is in MA. So I'd assume if you were all going 45 they wouldn't really have much to do.

in this great state of texas the left lane is basically for passing only. you can be cited/arrested for travelling in the left lane even though you are doing the speed limit. if you did this in my city, you would get more police attention than you would ever want. i don't recommend it.

Hey Bullit, just curious, what city are you in?

And about the left lane passing thing, if you are in the left lane, are you supposed to stay under the speed limit, or are you supposed to pass?

you are supposed to use the left lane for passing only and you are to obey the speed limit. professionally, i don't USUALLY write for it, but i will stop for it. personally, i'd love to put a beat down on the people that drive real slow in the left lane. especially when i'm in a hurry, which consists of 99.9% of the time.
