Hey TC... am I gonna go to jail again?

I got arressted 2 days before christmas for a no seat belt warrant in arlington that I had just recieved in the mail that day! I posted a cash bond of around 500$!!! Anyway they want me to go to court for it again! So here is my question. When I go is there a way for me to go to jail again?

They can't charge you twice on the same case. It's called double jepeordy I believe.

It really depends. Did you post a cash bond or an attorney's bond? If you posted a cash bond, they'll take it and apply it towards your capias pro-fine. If you posted an attorney's bond, you will have to go to court or pay the fine straight out.

Basically, if you paid the full $500 of the bond to get out of jail, and that was the TOTAL amount of your bond, you won't have anything to worry about.

Yes. You need to go in and tell the judge that you want your money back. DEMAND that you get your money back.

Trust me, it's the best possible thing to do.
