Your brother told me you were getting into prom burning. If I was able to give you the exact bin files I wanted would you be able to burn them or is that hard to do? Thanks

Yeah, I can burn a PROM for you! Just send me the .BIN file via e-mail. Tell me what you want changed and I'll see what I can do. Maybe this spring/summer I can do some data logging on your car with my laptop/diacom, and get a really good PROM burnt for it. Sorry for the slow reply. This is the first time I've been on line in 4 days due to a phone line being out.

Oh yeah, you have some options. You can take your stock CALPAK, remove the PROM, and solder a ZIF socket on it so you can take the EPROM on and off for easier burning.

Another way would be for me to modify my UV eraser so it will erase the EPROM while it's still attached to the CALPAK with the eraser door open.

ANOTHER way would be if you have a JET or a HYPERTECH chip laying around. My brother had a HYPERTECH chip from the old engine that has an EPROM adapter where you can just lift the EPROM off and on. That's what we were using.
