Today I installed the new Walbro 255 pump and poped it in the tank. Then finished paiting most of the parts. I put the tank back in by MYSELF and bolted it up I then said hmm i better test this before i put all the shit back on and it doesnt work, so i turn the ign on and it worked beautiful. i then put all the heat shields back on because they were painted. I then painted my coil springs and everything else so my friend nick came over and we put the rear back in well 1/2 of it in still need driver side lca and coil spring. tomorrow i am going to finish it up and put the rear half of the muffler on the car. I am then going to drop the tranny for it to await its new Vigilante 9.5. I'll keep ya posted.

I've heard great things about those Vigilante TC's. Good to hear the fuel pump install wasn't too difficult. No problems with the filler neck? As long as you have the tranny down, you might want to add a Corvette Servo. The one I put in the Z is made by Jet and cost about $50 from Summit. It hits 2nd gear hard on WOT shifts, not so bad at part throttle though.

I have no idea what people talk about having a hard time with the tank and filler neck. there was so much room. Is just slid right out. When I get the tranny down and out think I can get some instructions or help installing that servo? I have no idea how to do that.

No problem! It'll be a lot easier with the tranny out of the car. I had to unbolt the crossmember and drop the tail of the tranny a few inches so the servo piston and cover would clear the driveshaft tunnel.
