A few of the funny events that happen at Gateway:

Yesterday a customer called in and noticed that his new computer's hardware was inadequate for all the SOFTWARE they sold him with it!

A couple weeks ago a customer called in and wanted to know why he paid more for a lesser computer than his buddy, but his computer had a lot more software with it!

Last week they had to give a larger hard drive out free to a customer who was sold a system with a hard drive too small for all the software they sold him with it! (he also collects mp3s)

A common tactic of the salespeople on the floor is (they admit to it) down selling the new computer's hardware so the customer can afford more junk software and accessories with it. (Software and junk is where we roll in the dough, not the computer itself)

Usually things like that happen once every 2-3 months, but its happening a lot more often now. Buyer bewhere....
