Exactly what the subject says. I thought it would be a good trip back home to mentor but my luck decided to turn for the worse. I had a friend with me from school that i was driving home to willowick. Well, while on the turnpike just after sandusky coming east, i got a flat tire in one of my snow tires. After fidgeting with the jack for awhile, some cops showed up. I got the spare on and was going to try to make it safely back home. the spare donut decided not to hold either so i had to pull over again but there was an exit off the highway and i coasted off the exit and ended up at a highway patrol post. They called someone for a tire or to fix it. A service guy showed and i went with him to his shop to try to fix it. Well he didnt have his towing truck so he was gone for like hour and a half swapping trucks with somebody else. he gets backand plugs the tire(nail or something punctured it) and the sidewalls bulged out in several places. So i had to buy another spare off him. Total that night $80. get back to my car and i couldnt get my spare off b/c i have a wheellock as one lugnut, the lock was stripped, so the guy hammered a socket onto it. luckily it came off. he ended up putting the spare on b/c i couldnt line it up right. Anyways i had to drive like 2hours doing 45mph through cleveland and all. other drivers didnt like this much. i got back here at 1am. My friend's mom wasnt too happy about this, but my friend was understanding about this whole incident. It was nice that my dad(lives in eastlake) offered me a place to stay b/c i was tired and hungry and didnt feel like driving home.
Now today, i went and got a new snow tire put on so my car is driveable and cost me another 80 bucks. And this place also checked my motor mounts and said that they were ok. what the hell, one place says their bad, now this. i just want a new car so badly. i went and looked for one at bob krihwan in willoughby and found a decent 99olds alero. If anyone has any experience with these cars please let me know. Sorry this was so long, just had to get it off my chest.
