3rd gen of course. I am going to look at it tomorrow night. It is a 85 Z28 and I have been told it is a definite project car. If the body is not too bad I will buy it. Will update you tomorrow night.

OK, some advice on this. The car looks good for the asking price ($300). The body is straight but has the amount of rust you would expect from an 85. The rear end is from a 97 and has had few miles since it was put in. The engine runs, has some oil seepage and smokes when it is warm (possible ring job there). There is a slight miss on idle. The interior is pretty junked up. Headliner is removed but there is an overhead console. Driver seat is electric and in reasonable condition (needs some major cleaning). The clutch does not work and I have no idea what is wrong there. Previous owner suspects a leaking slave cylinder. The car will need 2 new front fenders (the current ones are a bit dented)

This is intended as a project car!!! It has the 2 things I really want on a 3rd gen: 1. A straight body and 2. A Stick shift.
