Quite a interesting day today:
It started out quite normal. I called MasterPro, a computer training place. It looks like I will be starting classes again for MCSE Windows 2000. 6-12 months at a cost of 5k, not cheap, but worth it.
About 3pm or so at work the strange part starts.....
The store manager is back in service when he notices a roach crawl out of a system. Sure enough, it was on one of the two systems brought in by a couple of FAT SMELLY hillbillys Friday. I kid you not, these people REEKED. The computers they own REEK of their odor.
So anyway I bag both of the systems up in a trash bag. (common practice now considering this is the 5th time or so it happened) The manager calls them to come pick up the systems. (This made my day, as you can imagine, I was in no hurry to touch these)
About 5:30 the two hillbillys come in a truck to pick the computers up. They go in service and argue with the manager. They then take the computers out by the truck, open them up, and commence to "clean" them out!!! LOL. We were ROTFL! They expected to dust them out quickly and have us take them back. Needless to say the manager told them to keep the systems. They were quite angry, lol. After they pulled out, the pickup truck left the usual oil slick on the pavement, quite large and unmistakeable because of the rain.
Finally, I got accepted to do Beta testing on a computer game! I just now finished reading the Non-Disclosure Agreement. It probably doesn't impress you guys much, but it could be a window into computer game creation/programming, something I would like to get into.
