Americruise Gathering

I was thinking about getting something organized for a gathering during the Americruise at the end of July. Specifically the show runs from July 27-29 so the gathering would be that weekend. I have not planned anything out yet but I already know of a few others who are interested. I also know there was some talk of this by a few others here a few months back but nothing ever came of it. Anyway I was thinking of meeting in Omaha and then caravan down to Lincoln for the show. Possibly could arrange to go to the track also. I was thinking of making it at least a two day event to make it worth while. I will have to see how many would actually be interested in doing this before I seriously plan this. So if you are let's here from you.

Are you talking about Scribner? That wouldn't be a bad idea. I think they are having the Friday night drags that weekend. What a rush that would be! :cool: I'm interested, fir those who might not want to shack up in Omaha I might be able to get some hotel info for here in Lincoln. There is a very nice one right on "O" street. Which for those of you who don't know is the main cruising street.(5th longest in the US!) and these guys cruise well into the we hours of the morning so you'll be able to fall asleep listning to the roar of a big block :D

Same here. I'd be willing to travel to omaha/lincoln for that. It would defidently need to be a 2-3 day event to make it worth our while. Let me know how that plays out. :)
