Noisy Head

My head started making a click noise a couple of days ago. It's coming from the "5 cylinder, I have heard this same head noise in other 2.8L v6. Is this a common problem? It sounds like a loose rocker arm bolt, or maybe a collapsed lifter, or a bent pushrod. Do they make an oil additive 2 make hush up a noisy lifter?

I would take the valve cover off and check it out. It's not that hard to put new lifters in.
