Any one spent the bucks and put an LT-1 and T-56 in an 82-92 F-body? What are the major problems? They sell the things on e-bay out of wrecked vehicles all of the time.

about a year ago a Chevy Mag did a article on that... it was the one with the bright yellow 3rdgen camaro on the cover..

its on the counter at home, if i remember, i'll get the date on it.. ;) you can then look it up online :)

swaped in the trans and rearend out of a 94 and just about to start on the engine swap. motor was 1,700 trans was 1,800 with rearend. want to use a/c but everyone says its a bitch. so I dont now if I am going to go with it or not. plus after you buy the trans you will most likely have to get a new clutch and a good one will set you back another 500

With a/c its a little harder, requires a little hammering, a custom harness will make it much easier, for the T56 you'll also need a new crossmember- www.spohn.net solves that, then custom fuel lines, tpi pump if a tbi car, few other little things, but not too hard of a swap if you know how to pull and install a motor, theres some pics of mine here: www.z28racer.cz28.com/photo.html and here: www.z28racer.cz28.com/photo5.html good luck :)
