I have a 89 TPI 305 Formula with this remanufactured computer.Service # 16198259.Delco chip ANYX9375.<br />This car is soon to be a 383 with other Performance parts and I know the chip will need to be custom made but what is the deal on the computer?The archived listings does not show this number for any car"unless I overlooked".Should I change it and if so what would you recommend?<br />Thanks in advance.

If you're keeping the MAF system, you don't need to change the ECM. However, you might find that the MAF has some problems feeding a 383 at higher RPMs. Since you'll need to have a custom PROM burned for your build, a S/D scheme may be better in you case.
