I got my car up on the lift at school and was checking out the parking brake because it broke about 8 months ago and hasn't worked since. I noticed one of the cables came off of the equalizer (the bar that the cables going to each wheel connect to...) so I put it back on. Later that day, at home, I pulled apart the console and everything was attached there... I still have to braking power from the lever, it just pulls easily up and goes back down when you press the button... I've heard it is self-adjusting, but it doesn't seem to be doing that, any ideas?
