o2 question

I was just under my car and noticed my o2 wire was burnt through since it hit the header. Who knows how long its been like this.

I know the o2 keeps the the fuel mixture right. I didnt get any o2 errors etc. Think this might have effected gas milage?

Isn't the default mode running rich? I would think that taking the O2 sensor out would cause the richest setting, and that should have a major mileage impact.

Others here know better then I.

I had the same problem with mine, changed it out and ended up going from 6mpg to about 14mpg, you figure it out :D
