New Windshield

Time for a new windshield for the 84. Its had a rock chip for the past few years and today it finally cracked from side to side.

So has anyone replaced theirs recently? I want to put a new one in (not pulled from the junkyard by me). Any ideas as to how much it would cost me?

Should be really inexpensive to replace it...I had a brand new one installed in my SC last October, total cost was $230 Cdn. If it had been an insurance deal, they would've soaked the insurance company for over $600 on 'list price'. Call around to a few places and ask for estimates to supply and install a new one...you might be pleasantly surprised (kinda).

I just got one put in for $138.27, Lifetime guarantee against leaks.
They brought it out & did it in the driveway.

It makes one HELL of a difference, mine was really pitted

Thanks for the reply's I had it installed this morning. Cost was $200.34. Its amazing how clear this thing is! Its great.
