305 LG4 HP??

I have an 1987 Z28 with the 305 LG4 engine with the 4barrel carb & 5 speed tranny. Approximately how much horsepower (stock setup), does this car make? Thanks

I think it's rated at like 145hp stock.

the 87 sport coupe with auto is 165hp. I think the Z is the same.

My dad tested our LG4/5-speed Firebird and got about 135 rear wheel horsepower. That car ran mid to low 16s on average (at about 100 ft elev.)

I had an LG4 86 Trans Am (Hey I didn't know shit back then :)) and even with a cam, intake and ADS strip superchip (w/ hollowed cat) the car was a dog - the TBI motors made 170 hp I think - my LG4 ran neck and neck with a TBI car, but Mustangs walked all over it like a bum in NYC :) Chilton said 150hp at the crank stock.
