I just put disc brakes on the rear of my Z. I originally had drum. My drum brakes porportioning valve barly stopped my rear wheels and depending on how the car idled the wheels would just barly turn (this is when the car is on jack stands). I went to the dealer and bought a porportioning valve for 4 wheel disc and the same thing happened, the rear wheels just barely stop and spin depending on the idol. I bled the frount and rear brakes and nothing. I spent $86.oo on the porportioning valve so it better be the right one, any info appreciated!

I'd get one of those aftermarket adjustable ones from Summit or something, man..

..but I don't know if they'd work for sure or not. This is the one I planned on using.. SUM-G3905 - Summit brake proportioning valve.. the catalog says you can adjust your brake bias with it.. so I'm guessing that's what you'd need....

It's only $39.95 too http://www.3rdgen.org/ubb/smile.gif

It will only work inline for the front or rear, I looked into it and i acctually have a wilwood one. Oh well we'll see what happens.

I heard from a couple of 1st gen guys that Wilwood sucks. At least the brake system they make for 1st gen camaro's is waaay undersized.
