Whats up everyone...
Well, I tried searching but could not come up with anything..I have a 91 gta trans am with tilt and the factory airbag..There is absolutely no up and down column play in this car what so ever...However the other day when I put my left hand on the steering wheel and slightly pushed against it to grab something off the pass side floor area, I noticed that the steering wheel sprung downward to the left about 2 inches, and then spung right back when I let go of it....Some people that I talked to said it could be part of a collapsable steering column desighn, but did not know for sure...Can anyone verify if this is the correct function of this part???
thanks alot..

I checked it again last night, looks like its more like 1/2" to 1" of movement when you push the wheel downward and toward the driver side...Anyone??

checked the 84Z today and it doesn't do that, but there could be a difference between our collumns.
