rear end swap choices

I have a 1988 trans am gta and I am putting a pontiac 400 and turbo 400 trans in the car and was wondering about rear end choices that can handle 500 bhp. I also dont want to have to spend 2 grand for a new performance rear end I am kind of on a budget now.

just beef up the 7.5 rear that is in it. i got an 88 camaro with stock 3.42s i threw in a locker and im sprayin 250 on top of the already spinning 400 horses

I agree they can handle alot with little mods
