1990 Chaparral 2150SX Cuddy. 350 Mag motor. We pick it up next week. Purchased it off of the origional owner in Chester WV who used it on the Ohio River. Boat is damn near mint. Pics do no Justice.

Assuming all is good today, we will be bringing it home. I've thought about mods, but since it runs so well supposively (we'll find out.) I was planning maybe to shine it up some with some Bowtie center bolt covers. Maybe a nice Edelbrock Performer idle-5500 intake and a nice holley carb and K&N flame arrestor. Assuming I pull intake and find the bosses tapped for roller cam (flat hyd tappen now) I'll be in the market for a nice small roller cam. I'll probebly toss the roller cam thats in the new 330 mers in there now. . (Ehh prob never happen but you never know) hmm vortec heads, 383, gill headers, corsa silent choice exhaust, bravo 3 drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahh another money pit.

good luck paying for gas with those mods you mentioned there at the end. i don't know what the price of gas is out there, but at our local marina, it's over 4 bucks a gallon.

My fucking luck. We go down to test run the boat down on the Ohio. What happens? I wasnt looking hard enough and nailed a log. Luckley enough nothing happens to the boat. So I thought. Pull the boat out to take it home. Fucking skeg at the bottom of the outdrive is MIA. I sucked it up and said my fault, I'll deal with it. It took about 4inches out of it. Left me 2 inches below the housing to work with. Tonight I picked up a stainless steel bolt on skeg from West Marine Online. Says it good for cracked, missing or just protection for new ones. I'll get me by as I am not shelling out a grand for a new lower half of a lower unit. Awesome boat though. Sure flys. I'll post pics tomorrow.
