i cant really remember what the fees were. actually now that i think of it i didnt have to pay any fees since i didnt officially sell the car through ebay. The high bidder who ended up buying it contacted me after the auction was over since it never hit my reserve price. so according to ebay the car never sold.

the fees are outragous compared to other methods.

try RVtrader and the paper first.. you'll probably sell thru there, and it will atleast be semi-local.

plus theres always messageboards.

i'd list it in the local papers and rv trader first. ebay fees are based on a bunch of different things.

I hate E-bay. Prices are nuts, charges are nuts and everyone on there is nuts.

I've been doing a lot of radio horse-trading, but the second something goes to E-bay I stop looking.

This doesn't really apply to big items such as RVs/cars..but my uncle Sean owns/operates the "I Sold It..(on Ebay, etc)' store in Eastlake in front of the Captains Ballpark. He opened in January and has been swamped ever since. If you have any hard to find/hard to sell items or have no time to research/photograph/list your stuff (may be certain # and/or value at a minimum) and can just wait for the check to arrive in the mail, then I can provide some contact info. i know shameless plug for a relative's business, but it can't hurt to try. I've even seen engine blocks, heads, carbs, you name it in there.

Well my camper sold in 22 hours with BIN LOL. Guess it was priced too low lol. Sold for 3650. (not bad as I paid 3400 for it new 3 years ago) Total price for 3650 was $92.50 The didnt want to go outside eBay as they were buying it from Kansas and wanted proof of purchase (They already paid me paypal and added in paypals fee for entire thing lol) I was hoping for at least 3K so with the fee 3550 aint bad!
