Its sad but I've only driven the car a total of about 3 times this year for pleasure not counting trips to the dyno to get it tuned. Money is not an issue, but Erin and I would like a Baja boat and this would help fund it. It sits covered on carpet prob 3 weeks at a time andmaybe just maybe i'll drive it to walgreens and thats it. Anything I should think about before reallllly consider selling it? I've got a shitload in the car now with the OBD II and 4L60E, but all the other mods like LT's and some other shit. I resold that because I just didnt care about it and didnt feel like installing it. What do you think I would even get for it. Mind you its 1001% rust free

as i am quickly finding out no matter how much you get it just wont be enough. I am building a camaro for my buddy and i have almost 6000 dollars dropped into it now and he wants to sell it i could prolly not get much more than 2500 for the damn thing.

Matt,
I'll tell ya 1st hand Dont do it.. Been there done that. Sold my Old 383 Regreat that. sold a supercharged 406. Regreat that. Sold a Strange 12 bolt. Regreat that. Should just keep the 1st combo I had in my 92Z instead of parting it out to do something else. and I lost a shitload.
You NEVER get back what you have into something. you might find someone who will pay what your asking but Its gonna take some time and advertising. Need to put it out on the market where someone is gonna be looking for something like you built.
#1 at shows.
Poss. Ebay if your willing to ship it.
etc...
You will get a ton of tire kickers on tgo, etc...
If you really want to sell it and think you will get more use outa a boat. I say go for it. Just be prepared to take a hit and be like damm...

i'd say you could probably get 8k-10k for it with the mods and shape it's in. we just had a guy on gtasourcepage sell his gta for 8k. was basically in the same shape as your car, only it had alot less mods.

You'll regret it like the others have said. Besides, you think Erin is going to let you drive her car every time you need to feel some power. Keep it. As the saying goes, the guy with the most toys wins and you're slowly amassing your goodies. Better mileage than a boat too. What's a boat get, a mile a gallon, maybe two? Anyways, a boat is just a hole in the water you throw your money down and in.

Matt, i thought you were a lot brighter than this?! A boat in Ohio is one of the worst "investments" IMO. You can use it what maybe 3 months out of the year, have to pay to store it, pass out the as for fuel when you want to use it, worry about getting bad fuel at the dock, and not to mention you think car insrance is bad! lol you wait.
Like we discussed before, no matter how nice the car is, sure a lot of people want it, there are a select few who can actually buy it, and a small percentage of that group has the means to do so. Keep the car, drive it every clear day we have, race the balls off it, go to Mid ohio or Nelsons Ledges, but dont sell the freaking car.....unless somebody ponies up 15K for it, but what good will that do you, pay off the house some more?
Keep it, or I'll kick you in the nutz next time I see you.

Accually my ins is very low. I pay 270 a year on the bird full coverage and 490 a year on the 04 truck full coverage.+
3 months out of the year lol. Hell we put my parents boat in , in April and pull out end of oct.

Im guessing you like to freeze your ass off on a boat in march, april, may? I dont car when it goes in the water, I want to see how much it is actually used. What makes you think you'll use a boat more than a car? Hello $200-400 fuel fillup per use! Not to mention you're a 25 min + ride from the lake (if you decide to dock it there), thats kinda like everytime I want to go drive my car I'd have to drive to Independence to get it.
You'd proabably be able to pull 8K out of your car in an open market...even though its done well and looks tremendous, everyone else will look at it as a modified almost 100K mile firebird. Keep it or sell it to me and I'll give you 5k.:D

Well Nick I have even thought about parting out the Formy too!!! Too many toys, noone to enjoy them with and the most important the $$$$$$$$ I have into all of them.I could have paid a house off by now! But if I just didnt buy the bike I would buy both Matts and Marks cars. But it would b so hard not to drive their cars or I would buy both hands down!
