Wellll.... We had hope for them to be higher but it appears the car wouldnt eat more then 7lbs boost with a 12lbs pulley. Best run was 341RWHP and 426 RWTQ TQ number was 400LBS + from 2500-5000. We assume the fully stock TPI intake and stock heads are holding off more boost. Were not digging into the motor for anything anymore as the car runs perfect and feels great. But all in all we gained 104 RWHP and 106 RWTQ from the SC

i'm happy but then i'm not. I was expecting to see HP numbers around 380. but i guess 100 gain in HP and torque isnt that bad.

Nice job, especially since your still running a stock top end.

Those are still some good #'s. Congrats...

We assume the fully stock TPI intake and stock heads are holding off more boost.

DON'T ASSUME...
Diff kinda boost. Its a twin turbo 350 with JUNK heads and STOCK TPI also.
23psi
New dyno #'s! (703 whp 723 ft. lbs torque!) those on RWHP and TRQ #'s too
Some Good reading.

Look at Prestons 305 iroc ran 9's with a vortec and then he swaped to a turbo setup.
TFS heads, AS&M runners and a STOCK LOWER INTAKE (extrudhoned)

So heads/cam are your least of worries with a boosted application. YA you will make more power no matter what with better parts. but I dont think thats whats holding you back.

For only 7 lbs. with low compression those are good numbers. Why only 7 lbs. ? Are you seeing any belt slippage?

wow he speaks from the dead lol. anywho, i dunno It hit 7lbs at 4K and kept it till 5K then it accually went down to 6 to 5500 I suspect there may be some, but It was like the car wouldnt suck down anymore. Her car is out of commision now as we pulled to quaker steak last night for pre PT crusie and the new BeCool radiator totally blew apart in the parking lot speawing coolant everywhere. Had to get it towed home. how embarressing. Anybody weld Aluminum rads?

Yeah, I've been busy with work. We just bought a Johnford Machining Center to do the big Die shoes and I've had my hands full with getting everything going, training and what not. I did manage to stop up at the IX yesterday. I didn't see anyone besides Gary from the NEOCC. That Ecojet is bad ass and Year One brought along some killer rides as always. As far as the radiator, I'd call around. I know a guy with the same radiator in his 1st gen and he had a difficult time finding a shop to fix it. It might be in your best interest to use an OE replacement temporarily if you can get away with it without overheating. Good Luck!!!

Oohh man, Sorry to hear about that. That would be embarrassing.

Its gonna be hard to find someone to weld it If it has EPOXY sides to the core. Or is the beCool all welded.? Look at the fins where they meet the tank. you will know if its epoxy or not. If its NOT I do know a guy who might fix it. What popped on it? one of the tanks?

My buddy here Doug builds bad ass custom rad.'s etc for what It would cost to buy a Griff. or a be Cool if you have to replace it.

If you can't find anyone local LMK and I'll give him a call and give you his #.

there a hole dead center in the middle half way up. fill it up and it looks like the car is taking a piss. nothing around it that would cause it.

if its in the core your not gonna find anyone to repair that. A rock or something prob hit a fin or 2 and broke em.

I always put a piece of Nomex Honeycomb http://www.bellcomb.com/caps/materials.htm in front of my radiators. Its light as a feather an DOESNT reduce airflow at all. (dyno proven) and Will stop anything from putting a hole in a rad.

Just called Radiator works in Twinsburg and Parma Radiator and both said they can fix it, so we'll see when I take it up to one of them tomrorow.

well there is a hole dead center and 2 others in the making. its my fault. the fan was too close and nicked the thin tubes running along the side. its a holt about the size of a pen tip. this looks like an easy fix

aHHH, ya if its that small it will be fine. The way you said it was pissing out. I though a rock would have came thru and hit it.
