I'm testing a new form of advertising with Kontera.
They use ContentLink's within the threads/posts.
It uses In-Text advertising which highlights certain words within those threads/posts.
When you put your cursor over the underlined text you will see a pop-up bubble that shows you an ad that relates to that word.
I.E. If somebody has the word supercharger in their post and the word has a ContentLink, you put your cursor over the word and a corresponding ad shows up as a pop-up bubble.
From there you can choose to visit the website.
If it becomes intrusive, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. I’m just trying to figure out some extra ways to make some income to offset some more costs of 3GO.
