today was one of those days for me, walked outside around noon to find all the parts i've ordered waiting on the porch at the same time.

Nice converter. What Stall? how do you like the OBDII conversion. How many miles you put on it?
I'm thinking about tossin all my 92 SD stuff and doing the swap. or just get a 950commander to control the boost.

Not the UPS guy at my place but looks like everyone got some new parts. (new to me anyways from a friend)

Coil Overs, Billet Strut mounts, 4piston Aerospace Heavy Duty brakes with aluminum hubs & 2inch Drop spindles.

Converter is a 2600. I absolutely love the 411 conversion. I've got about 500 miles on it. 250 miles of it was a round trip to PA to pick up erins harness. Got over 20 MPG with my car and that was with no lock up. With the 411 and 700R4 you would need a lockup kit from like TCI becuse with the 411 its made for a 4l60 and doesnt have control for just the lockup. Chris, the 411 will also handle boost with a 2 bar. Thats why we went with that also for erins car. Both cars are untuned at the moment due to snow and this new house we bought. We should be tuning both within 1-2 months and also installing the new 4l60E I had built along with the new converter. Also the Long tunes will be installed with new OFY. Hopeing to get a few more ponies out of it.

Also, we took erins car with STOCK Express tune, Blower, 42 injectors and no smog and egr to the e-check and it passed with FLYING colors. The numbers were accually less then then when we had it done with the stock 305 TBI with all emmisions 2 years ago.


But the drivabilty is NIGHT and day with the OBD II. My cars idles smooth at 550 and there is NO hesitation, NO surging, NO NOTHING and thats coming from a car with a Van 5.7L Vin R Flash lol.

echeck is pretty easy to pass. i passed with no egr or smog, and a hollowed cat converter last year.

my SD swap parts came today in the mail. figures it's been in the 70's the past 2 days and today it snows...

how much do you have ied up into the swap.(ecm,harness,etc..) not includin the tranny. (I can get a killer deal on rosler trannies)
Im sure I could sell on my SD crap and recoup alot of the cost. 92harness,etc..

I need to ditch my 3,200 STC and get something smaller. Looks good.
