Yes. Joel from OFI is going to be making me up a stainless duel 3 into a single 3 one along with a cutout and 1 bung for the WB.

Be carefull.Ive got the same set of Hookers, and I had to use a Powermaster starter because my Tilton mini was too big.Powermaster fits perfect.Do you have angle plugs?I take my plugs out to remove or install my headers.

Also I had to use wire looms to keep wires from burning on headers. They work great.

I am so tempted to get the tubular K member and A arms for cleanrance and the cool factor. Both shipped would be 1001.85 lol. ugg I dunno lol. I would like to, but.......

Where from?P A Racing has the best price.Every 3rd gen around here uses theirs and has no problems in the 8s.I have the stuff, but not installed yet.I got the manual rack too.So much clearance everywhere.Shave 100lbs too.

I was looking at the spohn a arms and K member. They seem alot beefier then the PA ones. + mine is mostly street driven with popholes and stuff lol.

hehe popholes

This is true,Spohns is better quality.I have their A arms up front. They pissed me off though, cause I kept waiting for them to come out with theirs all last year(K-member) and they would keep telling me 1 more month.I already got my PA one by then.I guess Spohn is very fussy with their design.I like the way their stuff revolves around stock placment.

Since I am sticking with the springs, I was going to stick with my stock arms because I have heard that the stock ones dont squeak with the springs and also I have seen pics of broken Swaybar mounting tabs on the aftermarket spohns. The differance is only 3lbs with the complete spohn arms and the stock ones. I already upgarded the bushings and joints in my current arms but I have somebody telling me that the tubular K member and stock arms would look horrible. ;) But I would like the K member at least for my LT's Does your LT's rub anywhere on the tubular PA ones?

1bad83z
01-08-2007, 10:53 AM
Im still all stock up front.I havnt installed anything yet,That includes the Spohn front coil overs. But all my 3rd gen friends that have theirs in have no complaints of any rubbing at all.Ya ,I know now,too late, the weight difference on controlarms.I even got the chromemolly ones for more$.Not much saved. You save weight on whole package.

:( No can do lol This will be officially my last round of mods for a long time. Expensive ones at least. Its house hunting and savings now. Josh, how is the area you live in? Happy with the neighborhood. We saw some nice homes in Parma the other day online and was just wondering.

Well since Josh and I both live in the same neighborhood I'll chime in. I love the area its quiet and peacefull (at least my street). We live in the neighborhood north of tri-c off York and it ends at Pearl road If I am not mistaken Josh lives right off Pearl and I live off the York rd end. some of the streets go from Pleasant Valley to Pearl

Yup, its nice here. Like mark said im right off of pearl road. Nice place so far for only being here a few months. Houses are affordable in the area. I guess the one downside with Parma Hts. is that the taxes are a little higher than other cities. But its really not that bad at all.

Matt, You might want to look somewere in northern summit county. Taxes in Cuyahoga county are the HIGHEST in the state. :ripped: That is why I got the hell out of there a year and half ago. I wish I would have thought about things like this before I bought my first house in euclid in '97.

I live in Boston Twp. now and pay no local income tax. Houses in northfield and sagamore hills cost about the same as parma and most have bigger lots. If you plan to build a building on your future property, you might want to call the local zoning board in that community to see what they will allow. Sagamore is 600 sq ft per acre for an out building. Just something to think about.

We looked at Macedonia and Sagamore last sunday, but everyhouse we saw was a slab house and we want a basement. + It seemed like some were looking in pretty bad shape for the price they wanted. We'll keep looking

Started up the car after like 2 months yesterday. Felt so good....... 1bad, what motor mounts are you using with your setup? Stock, Poly or Solid? I hear and have witness first hand that with poly you gain 1/2 - 1 in because I ran those with my superram and it hit my hood. Moved back to rubber and it went down. I am thinking about moving back to poly because the miniram sits low and maybe the extra height will move the headers up a tad making more gounrd clearnace. Any thought?

I still have factory V8 1983 305 crossfire motor mounts. They are pretty bulkey, but they clear.Of course when I built the car in the 80s I had to have them chromed.Im eventually going to a motor plate when I finish my 18 degree motor.this set-up is just temperary. My headers=nasty.
