Wow, this is something I hadn't expected to see. Moving on to something else Brian or no room in the driveway? Of course I'm assuming you're back in town.

I would assume it has something to do with what he posted in the Ask a Cop forum :(

Sigh, yep its related to what happened in ask a cop. Plus my daily driver, 1996 monte carlo took a shit. The previous owner didnt use Dex-Cool, so it corroded and blew a freezplug. My bro and I will try to fix it this weekend. I'll probably end up buying an old cheap cavalier as a daily driver for the mean time.

Wish me luck. A lesson learned in life. Its still good to be back home.

Details: when I bought the car the body was perfect. Since then, some minor paint chipping. It was built at the Norwood, Ohio plant, so the original paint is still ok. It has 3 dime sized dents from mofos hitting it with doors at the apartment lot back in dover. Minor surface rust underneath. Runs strong, needs new plug wires. I did a tune up, was in a hurry and bought cheap wires instead of summit wires. The rear hatch motor doesnt work, it needs a new gear nut, a $10 dollar investment on ebay.

Just because of the bullshit that happened, dont assume Im a desparate seller. I'll work 3 jobs b4 I give it away. I could always enlist in the Ohio ANG and get the big bonus. Im not giving this car away. I have too much invested in it, financially and emotionally. I have it stored in a underground, climate controlled garage. It can sit there for 1 or 20 years for all I care before I can work on it again. I'm down now but I'll be back.

I noticed that you said that you did your own tune up. Do you have the 350 tpi? That is what I have and I would love to do my own but I am not all that mechanically inclined but I have done my own tune ups on my old dakota that I had and changed brakes and altenators and stuff. Would love to learn because I really dont want to get rid of this car due to all the problems that I am having. If I can save myself some money someplace then I would love to learn how. Thanks.

dex cool is what causes the problems the standard green works the best dex cool eats gaskets like crazy hence why every gm that uses dex cool needs intake gaskets right around the time the warrenty runs out
