All right....heres the question.

I need a good switched positive wire at the firewall on the drivers side.

I know I can use my testor light and find a switched wire (only on while engine is running) but I dont want to cause resistance issues on any of the other sensors. I am in process of hooking up a three wire O2 sensor and need a switched power source for it. My first thought was the hot wire for the ignition coil, but dont want to drain too much current from it.

I am having issues with the single wire O2 sensor being too far away from the head...it is not getting hot enough to give an accurate reading. This is causing low idle driveability problems when it is cold, and I am thinking that a heated O2 will fix this issue.

TIA

Peace

i doubt it pulls muchof any electricity. I'd put it in just about anywhere

Run it off the fuel pump hot wire, it's switched and has plenty of current, and also runs under the car.

I was just afraid with all of the customizing I have done that it may interfere with the TBI chip. I never even thought of the fuel pump....but mine runs inside the car (along the drivers side rocker). I was just trying to avoid running jumper wires everywhere. Thanks for the replys..better then jumping off of the ignition coil.
