I finally made it back out to the track. The only changes since Thunder In The North was 15 X 8.5 Centerline Convo Pros with ET Streets and some cooler weather. New best, a 13.1921 @ 105.11 MPH on a 1.7981 60 ft. I still need to swap that Edelbrock base manifold and Ford #24 Injectors. :)

Yeah, and I backed it up with a 13.20 @ 104.64 and 13.24 @ 104.63. What can I say, the TPI likes cool/dry air. I always trap 2-4 MPH higher in the Fall. These new wheels/tires are quite a bit lighter than the 17 X 11 TT II's and 315/35/17 Nitto DR's too.

Hell with my 12 sec run I was only at 106 with a 1.88 60'

There are so many things that effect 1/4 mile performance. I'm kind of shocked at the MPH I gain between the 1/8 and 1/4. It's between 25-27 MPH, not what you'd expect from engine that makes peak power at 4,500 RPM with 3.23 gears. Just out of curiosity, do you know at what speed your torque converter locks?

Nice times, 60' times look great.

Thanks Josh! As the temps started rising they got better, a 1.7768 and a 1.7688 but with the rising temps power dropped also. This was my first time ever on slicks so I'm sure I'll need some more practice to get things figured out.
