I hate to be that guy who registers on a board to sell something but numerous people have told me to list it on this board. Either way maybe you guys can atleast check out my car..
I have not been very motivated to sell my car but with the new baby and trying to get my Monte together I am forced to sell it.
Here is the story.
I bought the car about 2 years ago with a blown engine. The person I bought it from had just put a ZZ4/6 Speed combo in it and within a couple weeks went from 2nd gear to 1st gear.. well the engine didn't agree.
I rebuilt the engine (bored .030) and reused all the ZZ4 stuff other than pistons.
This car was originally a RS which came with TBI. It has an edelbrock multiport conversion (still retains the stock computer).
I had the car painted by a buddy before I put the engine in. He removed all emblems, ground effects, bumpers.. basically he did it right. I also replaced the emblems, door handles, belt moldings, t-top flashing, front lenses.. I'm sure there is some things that I am forgetting but you get the point.
There was no rust or dents in the car before it was painted (couple minor door dings). It was originally Black with Red stripes.
The wheels and tires are new. 17x8 TT II's
New Brakes (Ebrake does work)
There are a few things this car still needs.
Speedo doesn't work
Very Small oil leak at back of engine (Less than a 2" spot overnight)
The A/C was never recharged after the engine was installed (Everything is there & hooked up)
The radio is kind of quirky
The interior is original. There are no rips or tears in the seats but it does show it's age.
I don't have any pics of under the hood or interior but I will get some up shortly.
