3.1 to 3800 swap

Hi everyone, I'm a newb here and this question has probably been asked before, but what would I need to convert to a 3800 engine in a 91 Camaro with a 3.1 manual tranny. Can it be done, or has anybody here attempted it?

why would you want to do that? if you want gas milage, buy an econobox. these cars deserve at least the lowly 305s that they came with. but if you swap one of those in, im sure somebody will track you down an castrate you.

If you really really wanna do it, it's safest to take everything.

just take whatever tranny came with it.. hookup the wiring harness and computer from the other car, move the cross member, angle the tranny and have a driveshaft made up . And whatever sensors and mounting brackets should be on the tranny.. Umm,, may need a new speedo.. i gotta go.
