Im doin this for a buddy of mine because he is by a computer he has a 92 camaro with complete tubular conversion with coil overs for a ls1 swap. and he is trying to put 94 firehawk roh wheels on there. What kind of spacer does he need to make the front and rear work?

Alright guys, I'm in need of knowing the correct spacers for my car. I would be very thankfull to anyone who has any info that I need. My 99SS I had got totaled in a wreck and ive decided to do a LS1 swap on a 3rd gen the only thing I am lacking is spacers for the 4th gen wheels.
Thanks guys, Nick

ttt .... anyone?
Just like 4th gen seats, the wheels can not be used on thirdgens.
Instead of going the spacer route did you ever think about doing it correctly and just buying wheels that fit the car?

And the reason I dont want to buy more wheels is that I already have them from my other car and it would be much cheaper to buy spacers than new wheels.

You will need 2"-2.25" wheel adapters to put 4thgen wheels on a stock 3rdgen.

I'd go w/the 2's... I've got a set of 2000 SS wheels on my 87. I went with the 2.25's and it was just a bit wide for me.

Thanks guys. Is that 2" for both front and rear or is one a little different?

I had a set of 9.5" wide ZR1's on my car with 27mm Nitto tires, and with 2.25" spacers it was barely enough to clear the strut. A 2" would have likely rubbed. So it's really going to come down to measuring your wheel offset to make the proper decision.

Stick with 3rd gen wheels. They look better and are easier to find.

Yes. 2" front AND back. I have ZR1's from a 4th gen on my car and I am using 2" spacers all the way around. They fit up very nicely in the wheel wells. :)
