ive got this shitty awia cd player in my honda, and the volume knob turns but the volume wont change. you have to press in a certain spot, while tap dacing on the e-brake while my girlfriend push starts the car to get the volume to change.

can this be fixed? cause shes gettin tired of the push starting, but i LOVE tap dacing.

plus im very tired right now. :gives:

Can it be fixed? Yes.

Can it be fixed easily? No.

You've basicly gotta take the whole damn face apart...I don't know if your model has a detachable face or not, but more than likely it does. If it does, you'll want to take the display apart, being very careful not to lose any connectors/pins/etc.

Honestly, I think you should man up and buy a $100 pioneer from Wal*Mart. If you need specs, PM me and I'll give you my cell #.

Oh yeah...to fix it you'll need to clean the little sensors on the pin switch with rubbing alcohol...:)

I know, I know...but think of it this way, with today's technology you can burn 200 mp3's on on CD...that means plenty of road (head) music. :)
