Biggest tire on 16" Rim

Whats the biggest tire that can fit on STOCK 16" RIMS in the rear of a third gen? Without problems that is.... Stock was 245/50-16, so based on that if you had the clearance you could go to a 265/45-16 and not rub.

This is without changing the rear suspension ie... no airshocks, no lowering springs.... etc

some of the 16 inchers came w/ 235/55/16 but those were teh suck

id say 275 before u run into irregular wear.

i like my 275's (course they are on my s10 not a turd gen) but they are freakin huge. Like 28.1 inches or something.
