That sucks. Mine decided Tuesday that the lighter assembly would short out, then that it would overheat big time later due to the fan motor dying. Fixed both by Wednesday. Thursday the pw motor went, then I left the bank and the speedo cable totally f'd itself up too. Now its just a question of - whats next?

im currently trying to decide if i want to take a promotion at work, its $1.03 more an hour, slightly better hours, more responsibility (and stress to go with it) a little longer drive (maybe 5-10 min) but it could be my stepping stone into mgmt idk i have a week to decide if i want to apply for it

thats all right though cam, the only thing that hasn't been replaced on my durango is the drivetrain, the roof, and the pass. rear quarter, first i got hit on the drivers side by some lady who failed to yield thge right of way in her explorer, at 45 mph mind you. they had to replace the entire dr. side of the truck, the entire front clip, and the pass.rear door, then a couple yrs ago i had another lady who failed to stop at a stop sign, and forced me on to a stone wall, they had to replace the rad. ac condenser, front bumper ass., headlights, and lower rad. support, along with having to splice together the entire main harness, because in the dodges it runs along the bottom of the rad. support, yeah, between the 2 accidents, alll damages total up to 18,000 on a truck that ain't worth more than 10,000

There's the reason mine was painted doors up. Gotta love rain, corners, and then telephone poles meeting you after a 180º spin.

Cost about 2/3 as much as I paid for the car to get it fixed, but it was worth it. The bodyshop in NJ told me it was worthless and totalled and to find a new car. Another guy told me $3500 with ME taking it apart, sanding it, and buying 2 new fenders, doors, hood, windshield and nose. The place we went to repaired both doors, the nose, and the d/s fender. So we just needed to buy a p/s fender, hood, and windshield, pay for labor & paint. I helped out a bit, so did my dad, so they lowered the cost.
