i always oversleep on my late work days, usually don't get up till an hour before work, prolly bc when i work at 6am those 2 or 3 days, i barely get any sleep

You and I both... I've been waiting on a call from a nifty pet shop, (They got puPPies!) for a job, but nadda yet.

My friend is trying to convince me to work at the Food Lion here, and I've been saying no to that idea ever since I moved down here [my parents suggested it in July] cuz I already worked at a grocery store for a year before I had moved and really dont want to go back to that . But I'm getting desperate. If I go talk to the guy up the street he can probably get me a job at one of the parts places, but first I gotta stop procrastinating with it. After next weekend, my bank account will have about $10 left.

Eh, I'm picky... I don't want to wear slacks, or dress up. That requires me to buy clothes (I won't be comfertable, and I'm not a girly chick, I don't 'dress up'.). I want to find a place that I can wear jeans.

I'm extremely picky too. I like being comfortable when having to work. If I was still in Jersey I had a few places that were going to give me a job when I turned 18 (auto-related, freaks.), but now I'm here and too much of a picky procrastinator to do anything. I guess when my bank acct runs out, then I'll have the motivation.

I must say that was one of the only nice things about my old job - I could just wear jeans & whatever shirt I wanted (we had to wear a "smock" as they called it, but it never was annoying) so it wasnt like I had to get dressed up for work.

When I worked at my dad's shop too I was always comfortable - jeans, t-shirt, kicking back in the office chair made from the passenger seat of a Kia :chuckle:

i havent always i used to work at sears they required khakis and there was nowhere to sit and cutom stereoo had to wear slacks and sonic had to wear slacks hell the only job i didnt have to wear slacks at was with jons parents
