Its a show. They used to have them once a week back when it first started (60s/70s I think...maybe even earlier). Its held in Kannapolis at Cannon Village (by the old Cannon mills that went out of business). They call it "Idiot Circle". First Saturday of every month. Since today was New Years Day, it was even bigger than normal. Usually I'll drive the '"circle" a few times, rev it for the kids when they ask (some little kids always yell rev it up to people). Burnouts were banned as of tonight - at least I had my fun last month :D

In Jersey I used to go to 3 car shows a week (Mon, Tues, Sat) but I knew where there was one everyday. Those were just the closest/most fun to be at.

I've been to one car meet in my life, and it was for a Neon board ( :o: ) I didnt even know existed until the day I went with my friend.

I love this guys horn, too :D It whistles.

My car acted like it was out of gas tonight while I was drivin at the car show ... doin the whole bucking stuff it does when its just about empty (gas gauge needs to be fixed *sigh*) I had to leave & get gas and the fucking thing only took 5 gallons. Bastid car. :mad:

Last time it ran out it said there was 1/2 a tank. My dad put in 4 gallons that morning after it sputtered to its temporary coma, and later that day I put in 10.8 more. But where the fuck did the other 5 go when I was driving!?

uh who knows, my old s10 would piss me off i could go 200 to 300 miles before it left full but once it did you better find a station cause it drops real fast. I could only go another 50 miles on the last 1/2 tank.

I came to a stop light on the way to the gas station and it dropped from 1/2 down to below the empty line. Then it'd go back up a bit, and then drop to nothing again. Mine's fuxored up but they're a pain to fix. Maybe the 3rd time I run out of gas will be the charm to make me fix it.

I was a picky bitch when I got my car ... went through AutoTrader for 3 days, rejecting every V8 auto. Finally saw the car I have now, was the only 5spd V8 within 50 miles. Then it showed up .3 of a mile from my dad's shop. :D I think it came to ME.
