Is floor in auto trans same as 5-sp?

I'm about to junk my 5-sp parts car. DO I need to cut part of the trans tunnel and weld it into my auto trans car that I'm putting the 5-sp in?

Or is the floor contour the same and I just have to cut a shifter hole?

ok your trying to go from auto to 5sp corrrect. all u have to do is cut a hole in the auto cars trans tunnel for the shift to go through.

im assuming u havent pulled the centerconsol's off yet. go ahead and do that and u will see what im talking about.


u should only have to cut a hole in the floor, no welding required.
