Cruise control

My car has cruise control and used to be an auto. I switched it to a 5-spd, anyway to get the cruise control to work with it?

Did you disconnect it when you swapped transmissions?

does the transmission even have anything to do with the cruiscontrol? im not really sure but isnt the cruise control, controled by a vaccum thing that holds the throttle in place. and u need the ecm for it to work.

You'll need to change the cruise release switch over to the manual trans version. There is an extra switch to release the cruise that is based on clutch position. A chilton's manual should have a breakdown view of it. You could prob get that out of a salvage manual trans car. Other than that I believe the rest of the cruise is the same between manual and auto cars.
